Value Sets

A ValueSet specifies a set of codes drawn from one or more code systems, intended for use in a particular context. A value set defines the range of coded concepts that can be populated within a coded element in a data structure. A value set expansion is the set of coded concepts resulting from applying a value set definition to a specific version of the indicated code systems.

DirectTrust ValueSets

SuffixVS all codes in suffix code system
ServDescVS all codes in servDesc code system
OrgTypeVS include codes for {CE, BA, HE,ND} from orgType code system
ProviderTypeVS include “prvgrp” from this codeSystem http://hl7.org/fhir/us/ndh/CodeSystem/OrgTypeCS, and include “indprv” from the DirectTrust code system
HispIDVS all codes in hispId code system
DTFormatCodeVS This value set includes all format codes defined in the DirectTrust FormatCode Code System for use in Direct Secure Messaging payloads.
MetadataTypeVS This value set includes all payload metadata types defined in the DirectTrust Metadata Type Code System for use in Direct Secure Messaging.

DTContextTypeCodeValueSet

The system of Context Type codes for payload metadata defined by DirectTrust.

DTTemporaryCodeValueSet

The system of temporary codes for payload metadata defined by DirectTrust. The temporary codes are placeholder concepts while DirectTrust works with other SDOs to request new codes.
